Xavier's School(CBSE)
Xavier School, the Only school affiliated to CBSE in Manvi Taluk, was founded in 2008 and is managed by the members of the Society of Jesus, popularly known as the Jesuits. TheSociety of Jesus is a Catholic religious order founded by St. Ignatiusof Loyola in 1540 in Rome and has been active in the field ofeducation throughout the world since its origin. Xavier School isnamed after St. Francis Xavier, the first Jesuit who came to India in1542.
The school has reached out to so many underprivileged, unreached and unnoticed children over the past many years. It is heart-warming and a proud moment for the management, staff and stakeholders to see so many of our students well established in their career and life. The Motto “Reaching the Unreached” has guided and will continue to guide us to reach, mould and form young minds towards transformation.

Loyola HEalth centre
Loyola Health Centre, initiated by the Jesuits of Pannur – Manvi Mission in 2009, was established in response to health challenges in the region, including fatalities from snake bites and childbirth complications. The lack of transport facilities and distance to primary health centers posed difficulties, particularly for women during childbirth. The tragic incident of a woman giving birth on a poorly maintained road due to an accident fueled the Jesuit Fathers' determination to build a hospital in Pannur.
The Health Centre is managed by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Tarbes of Mysore Province, focusing on education, health, and social work. In Jagair Pannur, within the Diocese of Bellary, the sisters address health issues such as T.B. and HIV, working to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and reduce stigma through awareness programs and medical and psychological support.
Key services provided by the Health Centre include daily outpatient and inpatient care, normal deliveries, referral services, a fully equipped laboratory, mobile medical clinics in surrounding villages, and various awareness programs in schools and villages. Additionally, the Health Centre conducts free health medical camps and distributes nutritional supplements to TB and HIV-infected patients, contributing to the overall well-being of the community.
